Today is friendship's day to honor the special bond that two or more companions share. To observe the day with surprise impromptu visits from lovely friends having Sugar Snap peas With Masala Chai to cheer the day!!
Ingredients
- Sugar Snap peas
- Salt
- Fresh Ginger
- Tea Powder
- Milk
- Black Pepper
- Cardamom
- Clove
- Water
- Optionally Sugar/Honey (Generally I will have tea without Sugar)
Direction
Sugar Snap peas
- Cut the edges of Sugar Snap Peas using scissor. (I made the mistake not to cut and realized while eating.. Hope you don;t do that mistake.)
- Put water & salt to bowl and let it boil. Also Keep cold water in another bowl.
- Add Snap peas to boiling water. After 60 to 90 seconds you see Fresh Snap peas turn to Super bright green color.
- Allow Snap peas to swim in Cold Water now :) & Sugar snap peas is ready..
Masala Chai
- Prepare masala powder using manual pounding (a blend of cardamom, cinnamon, clove and black pepper)
- On the pan over low/medium flame, add water, Ginger & freshly ground masala.
- As it comes to boil Add Tea Powder, Allow it to boil for 4-5 minutes.
- Finally, add the milk. Boil it more till the milk starts rising up to the top.
