3 Easy Prasada Recipes for VARAMAHALAKSHMI Festival

Today is Vara Mahalakshmi Vrata a festival to propitiate the Goddess Lakshmi. To satisfy the hungering after looking photos from family and friends thaught to make 3 Easy Prasada Recipes.

  1. Kosambari
  2. Horse Gram Usli
  3. Kadle Pudi

 

Kosambari

Ingredients

  • Moong Dal
  • Grated Carrot
  • Chopped Chillis
  • Grated Cocunut
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Pepper Powder
  • Salt



Direction

  1. Clean moong Dal & Soak for an hour
  2. Rain off the water
  3. In the bowl add
    • Carrot
    • Chopped Green Chillis
    • Grated Cocunut
    • Coriander Leaves
    • Peper Powder
    • Salt 
  4. Mix Well

Horse Gram Usli

Ingredients

  • Horse Gram
  • Avocoda Oil
  • Green chilli
  • Jeera
  • Curry leaves
  • Ginger
  • Cocunut
  • Coriander
  • Salt
  • Ing
  • Chana
  • Curry leaves
  • Mustard




Direction

  • Clean Horse gram & Soak for 4 hours
  • Pressure cook with less fresh water along with Curry leaves and Toor Masala Powder


  • Grind with Coconut, Chilli, Coriander and Ginger



  • In a pan heat oil add mustard,  jeera, curry leaves, pinch of hing, Chana
  • Then add Masala from Mixi & Cooked Horse Gram
  • Give final mix with chopped coriander, Grated Coconut and Salt.

Kadle Pudi


Ingredients

  • Chana
  • Sugar (Next Time I will make Dry Dates Sugar
  • Cardomon
  • Dry Coconut
  • Grind Coconut
  • Rasins

Direction

  • Roast The Chana, Cool Down and transfer to mixi. 
  • Add Sugar, Cardomon,  Dry Coconut to Mixi and Grind it. 

  • Add Rasins
