Creamy Almond Cauliflower Recipe for World Plant Milk Day

  • Almonds (soaked for 8 hours)
  • Cauliflower
  • Salt

  • Green chillies
  • Tomato
  • Black pepper
  • Turmeric
  • Garam masala
  • Dal curry powder
  • Mustard seeds
  • Cumin seeds (Jeera)

Directions:

  1. Making Homemade Almond Milk:

    • Soak almonds overnight in cool water to soften them.
    • Drain the soaked almonds and add them to a blender along with fresh water and a pinch of salt.

How to Boil Egg

 


Today is Honey Bee and Radio day. Attempt to Pick up a radio to listen 98.3 to attract honey bee with boiled eggs and leftover week items cucumber and Blueberry. 



Ingredients


  • Water
  • Egg
  • Cucumber
  • Decorations
    • Blueberries
    • Olive

Directions

  • Add enough water into pan so that the eggs are immersed completely and in a single layer. Do not pile the eggs one on top of another. 

  • Keep the saucepan on medium heat and let the water boil. Boil the contents for 8 minutes without covering the pan.
  • You can immediately take the eggs out from a slotted spoon and put them in ice cold water to curb further cooking.
  • Peel off the skin, cut to half, season with salt and pepper.

Yogurt Pot from Brussels Sprouts

Today is Krishna janmashtami.  Lord Krishna chose the flute as his musical instrument.  One tradition during janmashtami is Hang up pots & have friends/relatives shatter the pots.  An attempt to Make over of Pot following Dani's Roast Brussels Sprout and Serving with upma (Flute).



Ingredients


  • Brussels sprouts
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder


Directions

  • Trim ends off Brussels sprouts and slice them in half lengthwise.
  • Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, kosher salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  • Spread Brussels sprouts out on a rimmed baking sheet, cut side down 

  • Pop into a 400-degree oven for 30 minutes.

Ingredients


  • Sweet corn
  • Butter
  • Pepper Powder
  • Salt
  • Onion
  • Tomato
  • Lemon
  • Coriander




Directions

Boil sweet corn

  • Boil water with salt 

  • add sweet corn & boil for a minute 

Option1:- Butter flavour

  • In the Pan add 1Tbsp Butter 

  • Add boiled sweet corn & saute for a minute for butter flavour to absorb
  • Add pepper powder & mix well. Ready to serve

Option2:- Masala Flavour

  • In the Pan add 1Tbsp Butter 
  • Add boiled sweet corn & saute for a minute for butter flavour to absorb
  • Add pepper powder, Chaat masala & mix well. 
  • Add onion, tomato and mix well.
  • Add lemon juice and coriander.

Eggs with brussel sprouts

 

Today is #ILoveMyFeetDay . New pair of Feet made from brussel sprouts & Egg to celebrate :)  Jokes apart ordered a shoes that are good for running.



Ingredients


  • Egg
  • Onion
  • Curry Leaves
  • Cilantro
  • Chopped brussel sprouts
  • Salt
  • Green Chilli
  • Pepper Powder
  • Oil


Directions

  • Heat oil in a pan. Add teaspoon cumin seeds. When they begin to splutter, add curry leaves.
  • Add finely chopped onion and green chili.
  • Use brussel sprouts , saute well until the onions turn golden. 

  • Straight away add the eggs without beating.

  • Scramble the eggs & cook until almost done.
  • Add black pepper and salt
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.

Serve with chapathi.
